Welcome

This is where I should introduce myself, but, I’m still trying to find my way…

2016 – and the year of fire and water kind of fizzled out around the six month mark.

Inspired by rivers and the fires of celestial bodies, the category didn’t have much hope as the first half of 2016 has been dismally lacking in inspirational fire. The skies have been grey, My heart has been grey too. Roland Garros has been and gone, Andy Murray has another Wimbledon win, the Olympic games are brewing in Brazil. Aside from that there is chaos – could random chaos take me into 2017?

2015 –  Where next? I’m thinking fire and water…

Roland Garros is where I came in a year ago and I’ve surprised myself enjoying the year of garden poems.

2014 – I planned a year of Garden Leaks – having a go at letting my garden make the introductions…

I was still in search of the perfect template that would allow me to relax and feel at ease.

2012 – I offered Cookie Crumbs by way of introduction. This was poetry inspired by the ads that accompanied my incoming emails; my interpretation of their strange assessment of my e-life…

Hand Held, poems inspired by the less personal, unsolicited ads that pop through the letterbox, or get thrust into my hand in the street was a work-in-progress that never really took off. Maybe one day…
